FN 5.7 pistol
FN 5.7 pistol
The FN 5.7 pistol is lightweight and easy to use. It fires the flat trajectory, low-recoil 5.7x28mm cartridge. The FN 5.7 pistol lightweight polymer receiver and slide cover makes it lighter than other semi-autos. Its chrome-lined barrel and chamber, which are hammer-forged and chrome-lined, provide greater accuracy and a longer service life. The ergonomic, textured frame is made of polymer and features checkered grip panels. Easy access is made possible by a reversible magazine release, and ambidextrous manual safety levers. Picatinny rail built-in for accessories. The original FN 5.7 pistol has been trusted for over two decades with allied armies and civilian law enforcement. A new, all-flat dark earth slide and frame extends its innovative design. The NATO standardized 5.7x28mm NATO-standardized pistol cartridge, developed by FN Herstal, has a greater range and accuracy than common pistol cartridges. It is fired from a chrome-lined cold hammer forged barrel. Standard issue features pinpoint accuracy and minimal feel recoil. The smooth trigger features an internal hammer and a predictable break. There are four new models, including all-black and all FDE with either 10-rd or-20-rd magazines. The California-compliant FiveseveN models that have 10-rd magazines and are still in use remain the same. You can shop for this at our site.
Details on ammo
The 5.7x28mm cartridge is compatible with a variety of FN firearms including the FN 5.7 pistol, FN PS90 (r) carbines and FN P90 (r) submachine guns. It has been specifically designed to excel in a number of specialized roles. The lightweight, aluminum-core hollow-point bullets of the SS195 LF round and SS198 LF rounds are light, brass-jacketed, and compact. Federal Cartridge Company distributes the SS197SR in the USA. It is ideal for training and sports. The FN is also sold alongside 5.7x28mm restricted ammunition (duty tracer, subsonic) at our shop. To minimize the possibility of over-penetration, the SS190 duty round was designed. FN America also offers the L191 tracer, SB193 subsonic and blank rounds for training or simulations. All restricted ammunition must be released only after approval by the U.S. Customs and BATFE.
